Mission Statement
The American Society for the Protection of Nature, “ASPN” is an environmental organization. Our mission is to educate and inspire current and future generations to explore, respect, protect nature, while preserving the earth's natural sanctuary. The ASPN’s mission is to safeguard the environment, its people, its plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. We work to defend endangered species. We endeavor to train the youth of today, and of distant tomorrows to become wilderness stewards of the 21st century and beyond.
